An AI-powered job search platform that matches a candidate's experience and preferences with far better accuracy than keyword search.
The challenge
Keyword-based search made candidates miss roles that genuinely fitted them, simply because the wording on their CV differed from the wording in the advert.
On the other side, recruiters received a flood of irrelevant applications and had to filter them by hand.
Our approach
We built a matching engine that reads work experience as meaning rather than as a bag of words — so 'managing a team' and 'supervising staff' are recognised as the same thing.
User preferences (location, seniority, field) feed into ranking rather than acting as rigid filters.
An evaluation harness came first, so match quality could be measured every time the model changed.
The outcome
Match accuracy reached 95%, measured against a labelled data set.
Users reached a relevant role roughly three times faster than with the previous search flow.
